Dad Atkins Centre

named after Frank ‘Dad’ Atkins, the first Warden of Butchers Coppice, this centre is equipped for up to 42 visitors

 

the Dad Atkins Centre is set in the copse area of the site and includes a main hall measuring 15.7m (51ft) by 7.4m (24ft) with dividers that can be set out to provide segregation if required – tables, chairs and benches are provided along with an overhead projector and screen, whiteboards and pinboards – we can provide the leads you need to connect your laptop to the overhead projector

sleeping is on mattressess in the main hall with two separate Leader bedrooms, one sleeping two in one bunk and the other sleeping four in two bunks – 36 mattresses are provided for use on the floor in the main hall

the Dad Atkins Centre has both full WiFi access as well as a hard-wired network which you can connect to using a standard ethernet cable, central heating, access for disabled visitors and includes a kitchen with large gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and a full range of cooking and eating utensils as well as two toilet/shower rooms and a third toilet
